Designed without interior walls, the bathroom and dressing room are instead encased in a glowing floor-to-ceiling glass box that is wrapped in layers of sheer curtains. Wildly romantic, sensual and dreamlike, the 150 guestrooms, some with private gardens, feature silver-leafed sleigh beds, a rug inspired by Voltaire’s handwriting and oil paintings of soothing landscape scenes that are hung, unexpectedly, on the ceiling. At some 80-feet in length, Sanderson's dramatic, glowing onyx Long Bar is the focal point for energy at Sanderson. The beauty of Long Bar is that anyone can visit at any time, which proves to be rare for such a glamorous and well-known hotel bar. Long Bar is light, white and airy and oozes freshness and cleanliness.
Classic and innovative cocktails fill the seasonally changing menu, with guests also being able to enjoy the Ultimate Burger with a selection of varying garnishes, charcuterie and mezze sharing plates. At Tottenham Court Road station take the Oxford Street exit. Cross the road and walk left down Oxford Street. Take fourth right into Berners Street. The Sanderson will be on your right.
